Tauleonui
Thank you for your contributions to this Hawaiian Wikipedia! This site has been in a state of dormancy till your edits came along. I noticed your statement on the Main Page and wanted to add some suggestions.
To request a Hawaiian wiki icon you should probably go here and post a request. I believe to change the logo you have to be an administrator. Currently this Wiki has no administrators to protect it from vandals or to make language changes in the English interface. To request adminship, go here[1].
You truly seem to have a genuine interest in this Wiki project and I hope it will blossom into something great. Bye! --Cat1 & Jose77 09:27, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Massive problem with Hawaiian version of site
E ho'opololeiThe Hawaiian version of this site needs a complete revision. The person who called himself Tauleonui spoke Hawaiian very poorly, at a very elementary level, and believed that he could randomly add T's wherever he saw fit. In addition, he had no understanding of the Ni'ihau dialect of Hawaiian, but attempted to provide a self-made example of it in the Hawaiian language article. All of the buttons and commands need revision too. He has turned this section into a laughingstock.
Gratitude
E ho'opololeiThankyou so much Tauleonui for your excellent-quality translation effort!
I am very very grateful.
May God bless you and may Hawaiian Wikipedia prosper!
(If you ever need any articles to be translated to the Chinese languge, then I would gladly help you).
Best Wishes --Jose77 21:39, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Thankyou very very much for your wonderful help!
(I will translate the interface as soon as I am granted sysop priviledges).
Final Request
E ho'opololeiCan you please help me one last time by translating these passages into Hawaiian:
"The Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God, the only scriptural truth, and the standard for Christian living".
"The sacrament of feet washing enables one to have a part with the Lord Jesus. It also serves as a constant reminder that one should have love, holiness, humility, forgiveness and service.
"The Sabbath day is observed under the Lord's grace for the commemoration of God's creation and salvation and with the hope of eternal rest in the life to come".
"The Holy Communion is the sacrament to commemorate the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. It enables us to partake of the flesh and blood of our Lord and to be in communion with Him so that we can have eternal life and be raised on the Last Day.
The church believes that this sacrament should be held as often as possible. Only one unleavened bread and grape juice is used''.
"The True Jesus Church, established by our Lord Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit during the time of the 'latter rain', is the restored true church of the Apostolic time".
Thankyou --Jose77 21:52, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Those passages are based on Bible verses; but they are not identical. However, a Hawaiian Bible is very useful. --Jose77 04:54, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- Just try your best effort; that is all I ask from you. --Jose77 05:07, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thankyou very much Tauleonui for your fantastic help and time!

Looking forward to working with you here
E ho'opololeiWell, Tauleonui, I am looking forward to working with you here. It has been awhile since I've talked with a Hawaiian language student. I spent a lot more time reading Hawaiian literature, and more recently the Paipala Hemolele. I'd like to discuss Hawaiian grammar with you, if it is possible. I think that by working together we can do great things here. --Hardwire 00:14, 20 'Aukake 2006 (UTC)

connectivity project
E ho'opololeiHallo, my name is Anastasiya Lvova, I'm "duty" in Connectivity project. The essence of the "Connectivity" project is to study and enhance the coherence of Wikipedia, or, in other words, to improve hypertext navigation between articles. The project deals with deadends, isolated articles, non-categorized articles, transitivity of the category tree, etc.
We want to work with your language version, but we need configured MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage for it (with direct links to template namespace pages, for example, ru:MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage/de:MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage/fr:MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage). Is it possible to set it up for our usage?
thanks in advance, Lvova 18:28, 13 Iune 2010 (UTC)

Your admin status
E ho'opololeiHello. I'm a steward. A new policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus recently. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing administrators' activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.
You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on hawwiki, where you are an administrator. Since hawwiki does not have its own administrators' rights review process, the global one applies.
If you want to keep your rights, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights, and demonstrate a continued requirement to maintain these rights.
We stewards will evaluate the responses. If there is no response at all after approximately one month, we will proceed to remove your administrative rights. In cases of doubt, we will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review. If you have any questions, please contact us on m:Stewards' noticeboard.
